 "Where is my place in the digital world"

     The project was registered on 23.01.2021, completed on 20.06.2021. The project was conducted in English. It involved 19 teachers and 117 students from 17 Polish, Turkish and Georgian schools. Students raised awareness of digital literacy and disinformation while working on the project; Activities carried out: An information meeting was organized to celebrate Safe Internet Day. Students prepared an avatar, a logo competition was held. Five groups were formed from the teachers of the partner school while teaching about digital citizenship. Each group prepared presentations in both Georgian and English and presented them to the students. After the presentation, a summary was made with the students. They wrote about their mood. Presentation material for parents was also prepared. Students participating in the project created a puzzle game on jigsawplanet.com. Next month’s activity was a lecture. At the end, the students took the test "How well did they recognize the information or the false story?" At the end of the project, the students wrote an essay: "Where is my place in the digital world"; Then their collaborative work was published in an e-book created at storyjumper.com. Students provided feedback in the form of a short video / text in English.

Digital technologies , in particular the Internet, have a great impact on all aspects of students' lives: education, physical development, psycho-emotional growth, behavior, attitudes and more. The Internet promotes access to information, inclusion and engagement from anywhere in the world, the development of creative skills, social communication, online learning. But at the same time the student is facing a big challenge: the validity of digitally obtained information, digital literacy deficit , copyright, identification and responsibility for spreading fake news , trolling, hate speech. The project aims to raise awareness about media literacy and disinformation. Safe and efficient use of technologies .
